He believes that innovation without effective execution is just a meaningless invention that typically results in a waste of time, money and efforts for all those involved.

Mo is an angel investor, with investments in Startups across the lifesciences, semiconductor, cyber security and power management technology sectors. Mo co-invested and worked as COO in Calvatec, an inspiring Edinburgh based Startup, in 2009 and worked very effectively with other co-founders to achieve a successful exit (acquisition by a US-based company) in approximately two years.

Mo has developed alliance relationships with NHS Scotland, Scottish universities, Scottish Enterprise and the Scottish government. He has also served on number of Startups judging panels, including: University of Strathclyde, Scottish Enterprise High Growth Initiatives, Business Gateway, Scottish EDGE and Social investment Scotland.

Mo has worked with several US tech multi-billion-dollar international companies over the past 34 years in the computer, mobile, telecom and semiconductor industries. His experience includes serving as an executive leader for three Startups in Scotland where he successfully implemented the required business infrastructures and execution models.
