Chief Investigator of the MRC BIG 2-04 SUPREMO Trial of postmastectomy radiotherapy breast cancer and co-Principal Investigator of the METOXIA, 22 partner EC funded consortium on translating the hypoxic tumour microenvironment. He is co-Principal investigator of EPSRC programme grant , President of the British Oncological Association (2000-2), a member of the QA group on radiation oncology of IAEA.

Claudia has collaborated with Edinburgh University on industry engagement and commercialisation of university-generated IP from the Engineering and Medical Sciences. She is the lead for CAMentrepreneurs Scotland, member of the Young Academy of Scotland and the Economy and Enterprise Committee of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.

For the last 7 years, he provided consulting for the industry, angel investors and VCs and Startups, including medical devices and Virtual Reality (silicon retinas).
